Screenplay Contest
The time has come yet again for our bi-annual short/pilot submission contest! This year we will be accepting both MINI WEB SERIES pilots as well as SHORT FILM scripts. There is absolutely NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We will be happy to read anything you've written and if your script gets chosen we will produce it and it will premiere at a major venue at the end of the semester (past screening locations include the Avon and the Cable Car).
The short film submissions should be 5-15 pages, miniseries should be 4-10 pages with the goal of producing 3-4 episodes over the course of the semester. Submissions are due February 3rd 2012.
We will also be accepting applications for director, producer, DP and editor. More info to come. If you would like to direct or produce your own script, you will need to submit a director application along with the screenplay.

There will be 3 to 4 projects chosen. If your script doesn't get chosen though please don't be discouraged! You can always do a re-write and re-send it next semester! Also, if your writing does not get chosen you could always apply to be a director, producer, editor or volunteer to help out on projects if that is something that interests you.
Typeset your screenplay using screenwriting software (such as Celtx or FinalDraft), and submit in PDF format using the submission form below. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON THE SCREENPLAY ITSELF. All submissions will be judged blind.
